Encounter brings together rabbis, Jewish educators, community professionals, and student leaders (nearly 2,000 to date) from across the political spectrum for a non-partisan encounter with Palestinian civil society leaders and activists in the West Bank. Despite the conflict in the summer of 2014, that year saw more trips and more participants than any prior year. This grant will enable Encounter to expand its work and lead 26 trips for approximately 600 participants over the next two years.
